About Me

Hello, I'm Jaimie, horses have been my passion for as long as I can remember. My love for photography began as a teenager when I discovered my dad's camera and started capturing images of my horses. If I weren't competing at shows on weekends, I could be found photographing images of my friends and their equine partners, which quickly turned into an obsession. After high school, my journey continued in a large photography studio, further nurturing my skills and passion. As a mother of four girls, my photography evolved to include capturing their dance, gymnastics, and figure skating moments into their teenage years - a familiar refrain of "Really, Mom? Another picture? Don't post that." eventually became part of our lives. Now, with my youngest embracing her love for riding and horses, I find joy in documenting her experiences. After years as a stay-at-home mom and returning to the workforce, I realized how much I missed helping others capture moments that last a lifetime. This inspired me to create JaimieLee Photography, allowing me to return to my true passion. While I specialize in photographing the special bond between horses and their humans, I also cherish capturing families and children. When I'm not behind the lens, you can find me enjoying the simple pleasures of life - spending quality time with my family and friends, all while savoring a cup of coffee.
